Last night was a a blast. G & I attended the 4th(?) Blogger Meetup, held at the new Drillers baseball stadium. The stadium is kind of a big deal, since they built it downtown and its all beautiful and new and swanky. It was our first time to be in the stadium and we were suitably impressed.
I enjoyed meeting some other Tulsa bloggers, many of whom have been doing this for many years (hi, Kellyology!) and have far bigger readerships than mine (hi, Tulsa Food Blog!). After sweating off by myself for a few innings (omg, so hot in the direct sun), I went and found our fearless organizer, Tasha (of fabulous Tasha Does Tulsa) and begged her to introduce me to people, because I was too chicken to do it myself (hi guys!).
The next few innings flew by and before I knew it, the game was over and people were leaving. As G & I drove home in the cooling summer night air, I thought about what a neat city Tulsa is. Beautiful, quirky and… home.
So nice to have met you! And I guess I’ll see you again tonight!
